Professional Development

The University encourages and supports members of its community to continue to develop while working at Wake Forest University.  The Professional Development Center (PDC) is the central location for development opportunities across campus.  It was created to provide faculty and staff a comprehensive resource that encourages personal and professional growth.  Opportunities include academic topics, technology, financial and legal, leadership and management, to family, health and wellness.  The sessions range from one-hour lunch and learn classes to multi-day conferences.  In addition to being a benefit to you, many opportunities are open to family of faculty and staff.

The PDC offers convenience and ease for its participants by allowing them to peruse and register for classes online through its web site (www.pdc.wfu.edu).  The web site hosts the entire collection of courses and events.  To sign up for a monthly listserv highlighting upcoming events or to learn more about the Professional Development Center, please visit the web site.  The PDC is a resource for our community and welcomes suggestions on new classes and opportunities.
